Definition of the drilling point is a pad area to be the drilling rig or machine stand up and running the drilling to get the subsurface samples of rocks formation, and the size of these area can be 20 x 20 meter or depend on the how big of the Drill Rig machine. The part will be included Drill machine, Compressor, Mud mixer, Mud pond, mud pump, Core tray samples. All those thing will at around the drilling pad.

Why..?
Becaused of the drilling point will be a point to be drilling sampling to get the core samples and to be analyzed as a target your exploration to some of minerals , say gold, silver, copper or others minerals.
