Plagioclase Feldspar

plagioclase feldspar is one of the natural minerals that are often found when being surveyed in the field. Especially in areas with volcanic rock formation. Why like this? this is what I have encountered in the field, while in the survey looking for gold found mineralized volcanic rocks which turned out to contain plagioclase type feldspar.
My question now is why is Feldpars Plagioclase associated with mineralized rocks? is there this mineral which carries a lot of gold? or is there another reason?
Plagioclase feldpar is characterized by physicality that shows heavy texture. and this is the physical difference between the mineral plagioclase and orthoclasts
