When I came home from work by chance I passed a large river and on the banks of the river there were lots of people fishing, it was said that the water was flooded with lots of fish. 

So people went from the surrounding villages to fish there, even though they did not know whether or not the story of "it was said that there were many fish" in the river. No body known, except that Allah is the Most Moving.

From there I thought by chance I was doing an office assignment about alluvial gold which was done by panning or by means of "carpeting".

Now that idea becomes a comparison between these two activities, it seems that there are similarities and differences, let's try to discuss them here.

There are two different activities but almost the same meaning of luck, Gold panning for gold vs fishing is very different, the two are indeed cooperating in water, but there are differences in how to get the results.

Fishing in rivers and in the sea, everyone cannot know in advance which fish to lure, as if they are just waiting for the fish that is unlucky and eats the bait, then gets caught on your fishing line.

Luck And Success

And luck is the right of the Almighty, it cannot be steered or controlled by yourself. It is completely controlled by Allah ta ala. Just a suggestion if you want to make activities from these two things, you should first ask who has it, namely the Lord of the Universe, Allah Aza wa Jalla.

Just try fishing and you can choose the big fish, the grouper or something, or the Talapia fish or something else. But because Allah moved the fish so that it got to your fishing rod and was successfully lured.


It's different if you pan, whether you can choose two or three gold grains that are only or the other, even a single grain you will not be able to determine. It is the power of Allah to bring you to move where the gold grains are deposited in the sand in your pan. And this is the power of Allah, even a grain of dust is still under his control.
