Mining Geologist A Key Profession For Mining
Grade Control a key to success mining |
There are many professions in the mining industry, including gold mining. Seeing the many projects in front, there are a lot of experts and experts who manage this professional field.
The term multiplier effect is very appropriate to describe the consequences of a mining industry. One of the professions in it is geology control, mine planning, geological computers, daily data recording and many more.
A geologist who works in mining directly becomes a mining geologist (MineGeos), I mean a person who works in the field of mining knowledge and geology.
What must be learned to become that profession?
Is a knowledge of basic geology, rock, geochemistry, computer geology, statistics, chemistry and mathematics of course be part of it too.
Other knowledge about mining, for example slope cutting, truck pay load, mining operations and production is a part that must be recognized
MineGeos at the mineral mine
A Minegeos expert working in mineral mining production operations is the key to smooth production and maintaining the quality needed in the production of minerals produced.
In gold mining, especially a "Grade Control" will be the key to determining ore or rock production from the mine to the stock pile and ore processing. With good communication from a GC, a production package is obtained according to the work plan for a certain period.
That is what is called minegeos in my illustration above.
Grade Control
A GC will work responsibly to always maintain the quality of the economic mineral content which he supervises going into further processing.
In it is also responsible for the production of mineral mines that are produced, regarding the location of extraction, the level of ore extracted, where the processing direction.
Therefore, a career as a GC will be the key in mineral mining work, especially gold mining. GC knows where the ore to be mined, with what properties and levels, to be sent to the stock pile or processing plant.
